A collection of unique pieces made entirely by hand with Abonos™ and sustainable materials. Precious woods submerged in water for thousands of years, found, transformed by innovative processes and skillfully handcrafted, are made into sculptural objects, each exhibiting the unique characteristics of an artistic handmade object.
The Abonos™ trunks are recovered by Arte 9 Milano from the waterways of the Balkan Peninsula and, after processing and decanting them, they make available these unique, natural woods that would otherwise be lost. The trunks are as old as 8.000 years, some of them even dating back to the ice age; the particular colors and veins of the wood are due not only to the specific tree varieties but also and especially to the thousands of years they spent underwater.
